Zhaoqing administration needs promoting the economy reality of the region by arranging an exhibition within the great space o the local convention center. The theme of the exhibition is the bridge within the historical and cultural heritage of the city and the future of the great investment plans. During the end of  the 16th century Matteo Ricci establish a colony of Italian Jesuits near the river and that represented the first consistent connection between east and west. Given this background the region has great touristic potentiality and it has great investment plans regarding the high-tech industry.

The design of the exhibition plays into this balance between past and future : emphasis on historical documents and building and at the same time futuristic design to express the challenge of the new digital technologies.
