The briefing for a Chinese restaurant is always a challenge because it is so easy to fall into common places. The restaurant is located on two floors of an industrial structure. The top level is a roof top. Theme of the project is  summer garden of Imperial palace in order to keep the thee of outdoor for the design of the interior as much as for the rooftop. In the lounge area the red fragment of classic traditional Chinese interior is juxtaposed to the clean modernity of the blue lounge. In the main  restaurant room walls are decorated with architectural features walls typical of royal gardens, while ceiling is illuminated by lantern.

The rooftop extend the concept of the garden by surrounding the open air rooms with  green walls made of box plants.
