MILANO - ITALY
Interior design of “Maryling” flagship store in Via Manzoni 27 in Milan.
Re-branding project aims to make the retail space looking modern and bright to be the proper backdrop for a collection of clothes characterized by vivid colors and rich silhouette. Like in a conceptual Japanese courtyard the design of the furniture is inspired by the round shapes of white pebbles, typical features of the Tao gardens, while the choice of the floor recalls the traditional Asian cobblestone texture.
On the first floor back-illuminated acrylic panels are used as bright background for displaying and for staging the window design. On the low-ground floor the space is dedicated to the evening dresses, the background panels are made of metal fabric to filter the lights from the floor adding to retail space through a classy intimate feeling through a smooth illumination.
